Who Am I?
I work in tech and am an athlete that was born and raised in the Boston area. I love music, photography, travel, cooking, skiing, running, and everything outdoors. I moved from Boston to San Francisco in 2012.
Why am I Not Your Typical Tech Guy?
I've always joked that I'm a geek that doesn't meet any of the stereotypes. I am passionate about using tech in my life and to improve the lives of others, but at the same time I don't wear socks and sandals, I don't play video games, I prefer to be outdoors, and I was a college athlete. I spend much of my free time staying active and in shape - you'll find me regularly playing softball, soccer, golf, mountain/road biking, hiking, running, camping, or skiing.
Why am I writing?
I originally started this blog after being repeatedly encouraged by a good friend. I kept emailing him articles I thought he'd enjoy or commenting on the articles he shared on his own blog. I didn't know what I'd accomplish, but several years later I've found it is a great way for me to be able to look back on many of the exciting things that have happened to me and see some of my favorite photographs.
